2D Shooter
This is my 2D Shooter Project: Mission Eliminate
Modifications:
- Developed a new game story and concept.
- Introduced comprehensive instructions for players.
- Designed and implemented new animated sprites for both player and enemy characters.
- Engineered an end game boss character along with its distinct shooting behavior.
- Created captivating player death animations.
- Incorporated destructible and indestructible environmental objects for immersive gameplay.
- Introduced a variety of new weapons with animated sprites, functioning as power-ups when on the ground.
- Implemented weapon switch mechanics.
- Enhanced weapon behaviors through visual and audio effects.
- Integrated new UI elements, including a tracking minimap, current weapon display, lives indicator, boss name display, and boss health bar display.
- Optimized UI elements to prevent automatic scene transitions upon defeating all enemies.
- Refreshed the Main Menu background using Pixlr AI-generated imagery.
- Enhanced UI aesthetics with new font styles and color schemes.
- Enriched the gameplay experience with newly composed shooting, enemy death, and player death sound effects.
- Introduced new menu music and seamlessly looped in-game music tracks for an immersive audio experience.
